For my birthday this year, Marc and I made a quick escape to Baguio City. We planned an itinerary of doing as many touristy things as we could in the 36 hours we were there.
1. We went horseback riding in Wright Park
2. We ate at Ketchup Food Community
3. We visited the Botanical Gardens
4. We ate at the 50s diner
5. We visited the Easter Weaving Room
5. We explored Tam-Awan Village
6. We ate at Cafe by the Ruins

All in all, it was a busy trip. We walked a LOT and we got to explore without having to ask for directions. Commuting around the city was quite easy; there were jeep routes for everywhere!
This was actually the first time that Marc and I travelled alone together, just the two of us, since we first got together! Man, I wonder why we've never done this before. It felt so good being in a place we weren't familiar with, exploring it together, discovering things together. Maybe our dream of living abroad together for a year or two isn't so far-fetched after all :)
When we got back, I treated my family to a lot of pizza from Friuli and Marc got me a cake!
